You’re one of us—and IU is stronger because of your participation as a Groups Scholar! The Groups Scholars Alumni Association is now over 15,500 strong! An alumni association is only as strong as its members – and each of us, as a Groups Scholar, carries the strength and determination of those who fought and continue to fight for the success of this incredibly important program.
The IU Groups Alumni Association (GAA), an affiliate organization of the Indiana University Alumni Association, is here to help you continue your life-long connection with Indiana University as a foundation of support for the Groups Scholars Program and as a means to stay involved and engaged with other Groups Scholars alumni.
Our Groups Alumni Association was created for alums who benefited from their IU experiences and believe in giving back to new generations of students. We recognize that if it were not for people who took the time to provide opportunities for us as students, we would not be where we are today. The GAA offers not only an opportunity to give back but also a chance to enjoy continued participation in the Groups Scholars family.
The GAA is comprised of individuals who have shared the Groups Scholars experience as past or present staff, students, parents, recommenders, ambassadors, mentors, IU advisory council members, and friends and are now part of the Groups Scholars family. It is in this spirit that we invite you to start or renew your membership with the IU Alumni Association and get active with us!
To develop a greater presence with current Groups Scholars, we’ll periodically send you updates and announcements on engagement opportunities. We also encourage you to share your experiences as a Groups Scholar with others and how the program affected your personal and academic experiences at IU.
